Biography
Dr Amr Salamah
Dr Amr Salamah is a specialist in internal and geriatric medicine with substantial clinical, academic, and international experience. He holds a Master’s in Internal Medicine, MRCP (UK), and the Specialty Certificate in Geriatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Salamah is currently an Assistant Lecturer and PhD Fellow at Alexandria University, where he teaches geriatric medicine to medical, postgraduate, and nursing students. His clinical practice centres on the care of older adults with complex needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He also completed a one-year role as Geriatric Registrar at North Middlesex University Hospital in London, where he led multidisciplinary ward rounds, managed acute stroke and geriatric patients, and contributed to medical education as a tutor and examiner for UCL. Dr Salamah has presented research at international conferences and maintains active membership in both the British Geriatrics Society and the Egyptian Society for Geriatric Health. His blend of practical experience, academic teaching, and cross-cultural healthcare insight ensures he brings depth and relevance to his role as a tutor on the Care of the Older Person MSc.
