Biography

Dr Dina Rabie, MD, PhD, MRCPCH, MSc, MBBCh

Dr Dina Rabie is an Associate Professor of Paediatrics and Consultant Neonatologist at Ain Shams University with over 12 years of specialist neonatology experience. Her extensive clinical practice spans Level III and Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) care, complex neonatal management, and leadership as former Director of the Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital NICUs. Additionally, she was an Honorary Fellow in Neonatology, Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at University College London Hospitals.
Her academic contributions encompass postgraduate and undergraduate medical education, including NRP training and simulation-based teaching. Dr Rabie maintains a substantial research portfolio with publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals such as Pediatric Research, European Journal of Pediatrics, and Diagnostic Microbiology and Infectious Disease, covering neonatal sepsis, respiratory distress syndrome, and developmental care. She has also contributed to the Egyptian National Practice Guidelines for Severe Neonatal Hyperbilirubinaemia and serves as a peer reviewer for journals including PLOS ONE and Scientific Reports.
