Dr. Graeme James Judson MBChB, MHSc, FAChAM
Dr. Graeme James Judson is an Addiction Medicine Specialist who serves as a Tutor for the PGCert in Addiction Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, a Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (Alcohol and Drug), and a Master in Health Science (Honours) from the University of Auckland, alongside being a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine. His extensive clinical career includes roles as an Addiction Medicine Specialist for Nelson DHB and Lives Lived Well NSW, serving as OST lead for Northland DHB addiction services, and previously holding positions as Lead Medical Officer across multiple addiction and opiate substitution treatment services in New Zealand and Australia. Professionally, Dr. Judson has served on the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine Education Committee (RACP) and co-authored peer-reviewed publications covering drug injecting patterns and prescription drug misuse. His deep clinical specialization in addiction medicine and involvement in postgraduate education provide online students with expert, evidence-based academic mentoring.
