Dr. Hina Mazhar

Dr. Hina Mazhar is a Consultant Dermatologist, Associate Professor of Dermatology, and Clinical and Educational Supervisor with over two decades of clinical experience, including more than 12 years at consultant level. Dr. Mazhar attained her fellowship degree in Dermatology (FCPS) in 2014, winning a gold medal for exceptional achievements. Her qualifications include MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edinburgh), FHEA, Certificate in Health Professionals Education (CHPE), the Specialty Certificate in Dermatology (RCP, UK), and the Diploma of the European Board of Dermatology and Venereology (EBDV), along with certification in aesthetic medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
She gained clinical experience as an International Dermatology Fellow at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. Her clinical practice covers general and paediatric dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, and dermatological surgery, with a particular focus on dermoscopy. She holds a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy.
Dr. Mazhar is actively engaged in medical education; she supervises and mentors dermatology trainees and medical students and has been recognised for her commitment to teaching through her fellowship with Advance HE. She is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (IFAAD) and a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and International Dermoscopy Society (IDS).
Alongside her clinical and academic roles, she is involved in research and clinical audit work and regularly contributes to national and international scientific meetings, with several publications to her credit. She currently practices at a tertiary care hospital while also managing a busy private practice.
