Dr Jawad Bashir
Professional Activities:
Dr Jawad Bashir is a consultant endocrinologist who completed his training in dual specialties of diabetes and endocrinology and internal medicine at Wales Deanery (UK). He is currently working as a consultant endocrinologist in one of the largest healthcare facilities of UAE, Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Dubai. Before joining Mediclinic, he was a consultant endocrinologist at King’s College Hospital London, Dubai UAE. He has been the line manager for the hospitalist workforce at KCH and was awarded the director of medical education role due to his enthusiasm for teaching and academic activities. He organized the first ever King’s clinical update in diabetes, endocrine, and obesity in July 2022.
Dr Jawad has been phenomenal in several teaching and leadership roles during his career. His passion for teaching and academics has been highlighted by his involvement in a variety of teaching activities throughout his career. Some of his key teaching roles include working as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor as well as Line Manager for hospital staff at King's College Hospital London, and as Adjunct Associate Lecturer at MBRU: Mohamed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai, UAE.
