Dr. Sophia Sansur

Dr Sophia Sansur is a Tutor on the PgDip and MSc in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine and the PgCert in Anti-Ageing Medicine at the University of South Wales, where she has taught since 2022 across seven course modules spanning anatomy and physiology, toxin and dermal filler treatments, skin treatments, and anti-ageing science and endocrinology. She holds an MSc in Cosmetic Medicine, awarded with Distinction from the University of South Wales, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, awarded with Distinction from Al-Quds University. Dr Sansur has over twelve years of clinical and teaching experience in aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine, and has trained more than 500 doctors in the clinical aspects of the field. She works in private dental practice, where her scope includes minor oral surgery, implant rehabilitation, and nonsurgical facial aesthetics. In 2025, she founded Prime Aesthetics Academy, delivering evidence-based education in aesthetic medicine to doctors and dentists. Her publications include a systematic review on managing impending skin necrosis associated with hyaluronic acid fillers, published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and she has spoken at the IMCAS World Congress. This breadth of clinical practice, teaching, and academic contribution underpins her role across both programmes.
