Biography
Dr Sue Kenneally MBBS MRCGP MSc (NutMed) ANutr
Dr Sue Kenneally is a practising GP, qualified nutritionist, and passionate advocate for lifestyle medicine. She holds an MSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of Surrey and is an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr), with a particular interest in obesity, nutrition, and the prevention and management of chronic disease.
A founding member and Director of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr Kenneally also serves as its Nutrition Lead. She is the Wales lead for the Association for the Study of Obesity, a SCOPE-certified member, and sits on the board of the Welsh Obesity Society. Her work reflects a career-long dedication to helping patients and healthcare professionals understand the profound impact of lifestyle choices on long-term health.
Alongside her clinical role as a GP partner in South Wales, she regularly tutors medical students in practice, lectures on obesity and lifestyle medicine with the University of South Wales, and delivers public talks on weight management. Having completed her postgraduate studies relatively recently, she brings empathy and insight to her role as Programme Director - remembering clearly the value of supportive, engaging teaching.
Dr Kenneally is committed to empowering healthcare professionals with the tools and confidence to make meaningful, evidence-based changes in their patients’ lives, supporting a more personalised, preventative approach to care.
