Katherine Pleace
Katherine Pleace is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience in women’s health, specialising in fertility, menopause, and gynaecology. She holds an MSc in Reproductive Medicine with distinction and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring women’s lived experiences of premature ovarian insufficiency. Katherine combines her academic expertise with clinical practice as a freelance menopause and fertility specialist, delivering consultations, training, and public education. She has also contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education as an Assistant Professor at Dublin City University and previously as a Lecturer Practitioner at Anglia Ruskin University. Her teaching integrates evidence-based content with clinical insight, and she actively supports curriculum development and postgraduate supervision. Katherine is a member of the British Fertility Society and the Menopause Society, and her work has been presented at national conferences. Her combined clinical, academic, and educational background ensures she is well placed to support learners as a Tutor on the PGCert in Menopause Medicine.
