Marta Teixeira BN (Hons), RN (Adult), IAT, PGCert, MSc

Marta Teixeira is a prescribing trichologist and dermatology specialist nurse who serves as a Tutor for the PGCert in Trichology. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Degree (Hons) from the University of Aveiro and a PGCert from the University of Southampton, as well as an MSc in Dermatology in Clinical Practice. Her clinical work encompasses diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with hair and scalp concerns at CliniHair, alongside serving as a Band 7 Dermatology Specialist Nurse in the NHS to assess skin conditions and prescribe treatments. Her academic background includes delivering postgraduate teaching as a Lecturer and Academic Tutor for the PGDip in Trichology/Hair Sciences at the University of South Wales, evaluating scientific literature as a Medical Reviewer for Miiskin, and serving as a Chair and Advisor for the International Trichology Congress. Marta's combination of clinical consultation experience, specialized hair science research review, and higher education instruction equips her to effectively guide students through the course curriculum
